Trata-se da história de um menino do interior, que ao descobrir que os porquinhos que são castrados, são comercializados para virarem alimentos para seres humanos. Teve uma reação inusitada. O pai do menino, desejava passar todo seuconhecimento para seu filho, decidiu levá-lo para assistir à castração de um porquinho. Ao descobrir que o porquinho, dentro de poucos dias, seria levado para o frigorífico, o menino, juntamente com Zezinho, filho de Dona Carmelita, proprietária do chiqueiro onde o porquinho ficava, começaram uma verdadeira batalha para impedir. Após os meninos conseguirem soltar todos os porcos do chiqueiro, os funcionários da chácara, começaram intensa caçada aos animais. O porquinho que seria castrado conseguiu fugir da chácara, passando por um buraco na cerca viva. Após encontrarem o porquinho, levaram-no de volta para a chácara. Seu Chico Carreiro, pai do menino, foi pegar o material para à castração do animalzinho, no entanto, na confusão da fuga dos porcos, a bolsa onde estava o material, sumiu. O menino e seu amiguinho Zezinho, fizeram de tudo para salvar aquele porquinho da castração e evitar que fosse levado ao frigorífico. Depois de multa luta os meninos conseguiram algo impressionante.
