Abstract:Stark broadened spectral line shapes for hydrogenic ion lines are computed for several different ions, temperatures, and charge densities. The Hooper distribution functions for electric microfields are computed and tabulated for the parameters used in the line shape calculations.Dissertation Discovery Company and University of Florida are dedicated to making scholarly works more discoverable and accessible throughout the world.
