As editor in chief, I was honored when asked to write the editorial for this one. When I read this book, I knew I was reading something profoundly special. From the first page to the last, this book grips your soul and takes it on a voyage like no other. From the start of all creation, some 13.5 billion years ago, to the birth of our earth, Cantu reminds us that our souls have been on this evolutionary journey since the very beginning, and the journey is eternal.This literature teaches us that through the ages, we have been infiltrated with thoughts, commandments, laws, opinions, creeds, beliefs and views of others. He calls these, the Imaginary Boundaries of the mind. Cantu contends that we are blinded by these imaginary boundaries that are often passed down from generation to generation, so much so that we have lost our inner connection to one another. Reminding us that we must discontinue to dispute whether we are Republican or Democratic, Jewish or Christian, American or Russian, etc. Behind all the labels we give ourselves, remains this reality, we are merely human beings. What makes this book so extraordinary is that he is right, along the way we have lost our connection to one another, but also, we have forgotten what humanity’s purpose in life is. We, the human species, have forgotten the most significant language of all; the universal language within - our Common Sense! Cantu writes, 'We are born connected through our Common Sense, however most of us eventually disconnect from it because of the imaginary boundaries in our mind. Which leads us to many of the problems we face today, such as violence, oppression, racism, and war, just to name a few.'As we sit on the verge of global devastation by pushing the boundaries of warfare technology to the limits of nuclear catastrophe and global warming through deforestation and pollution of all the waters and air, I am so relieved to learn about real solutions and universal truths that can awaken humanity from total self-destruction. It’s simple! If we educate ourselves, we no longer live in fear. Which is to say, if we read this book and share it with our loved ones, then we have a chance to live and co-create an earth filled with creativity, unity and love. As this book teaches us, our purpose is not to destroy the planet, but rather to build heavens upon it. As Cantu puts it, 'Ultimately, we are trying to reach the greatest intention of the universe, this is the intention that we are born from, and that is to be, totally free, so that we can expand and experience our love and consciousness endlessly. That is the ultimate vision that he calls the Auspicious Vision, it’s a vision of freedom for all!' If you want to change your life, change the way you see it.
