The story of Dancing in the Cake Cathedral was a result of someone asking what I did for fun when I was a boy.Almost all the activities and dialogs are very close to what really took place as I remember. Character molding was what most adults did to children who were not even related to them, especially when they thought no one was paying attention. The story is about having decent fun and friendship without supervision. It’s fantasy in Errol’s mind like it was in Valarie’s concept in her dance. If children, especially young teens, want to have half the fun that the characters have in the story, even in their minds like Errol did and how the grown-ups encouraged, then Dancing in the Cake Cathedral is certainly the right place to begin.  3
