God is willing.... How The Prayer of Faith Heals the Sick.Few teachers have made it clearer that Christ’s atonement was meant to heal and sanctify the body as well as the soul (Isaiah 53).For more than two years Andrew Murray was stopped from ministry by illness. Then, in answer to the prayer of faith, he was healed by the mercy of God.Out of that experience came this classic work - a clear, Spirit-filled call to the Church to recover the forgotten truth that Jesus is still the Healer of both soul and body.In Divine Healing, Murray answers all the usual objections and repeatedly and convincingly clearly shows from Scripture that:* The prayer of faith is God’s appointed means for healing the sick* Healing does not just belong to the early church, but belongs to every age* Pardon of sin and healing of the body belong together in the finished work of Christ* Just as forgiveness is received by faith in the finished work of the cross, so physical healing is received the same way* Sickness is not a blessing to be endured, but an evil from which the Lord desires to deliver His children* The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and is meant to be kept for the LordThis modern English edition preserves every truth of the original while making Murray’s powerful teaching easy to read and apply today. Whether you are sick yourself, caring for someone who is, or simply longing to see the power of God restored in the Church, these pages will strengthen your faith and point you to Jesus - the same yesterday, today, and forever. An excellent Bible study for individual or group study, to discover the priceless treasure the Church holds in 'the Lord who heals you.'This modern English edition preserves every truth of the original while making Murray’s powerful teaching easy to read and apply today.
