The real-life story about the rehabilitation and transformation of the man convicted of 'one of the most notorious high-tech burglary sprees in the region’s story'. From his inner childhood in Roxbury, Massachusetts, a black neighborhood of Boston during civil rights, to his arrest and conviction for stealing millions of dollars of computer equipment from some of the leading high-tech companies in Silicon Valley, you will know how he acted, why he did it, and what happened to him. Howard Allen Young targeted high-tech companies in Silicon Valley for nearly four years, starting in 2000. Standing at 6’7' tall and weighing over 300 pounds he was dubbed 'The Green Mile Burglar' because of his resemblance with the lead character of the book and movie. Young always wore a suit and tie, gloves, and a cap to commit his crimes, which piled up to 26 burglaries removing specialized high-end components in early Saturday mornings, that approached 3 million-dollar losses for his victims and got police attention for his elusive and unique looks. He ended up wanted by police in over three states and the FBI, and was finally caught on a $5,000,000 arrest warrant, going to maximum security prison. Young was released 17 years later and now tells his story in this surprising and honest book.
