She provided the office support for his business, taught home economics in a private school, and managed a school kitchen. She has served in her church by teaching children and youths. Along with five children of her own, she cared for twelve foster children. She currently has ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also provides care for her ninety-one-year-old mother. She is an active member of her church and participates in serving meals to grieving families. Whether camping or on a cruise ship, she likes to travel with her husband.
