Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, den Einfluss der Kriminalisierung der Verbrechen und Missbräuche, die von den Gerichten in den Nürnberger Prozessen gegen die überlebenden Führer des Naziregimes nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg begangen wurden, und die Grundlagen ihrer Verfassung zu bewerten, die einen rechtlichen Fortschritt darstellten, der später von den Vereinten Nationen (UN) für die Entwicklung einer spezifischen internationalen Rechtsprechung zum Thema Angriffskrieg genutzt wurde, Kriegsverbrechen und Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit sowie für die spätere Schaffung des Römischen Statuts im Jahr 1998, dem ersten Versuch der Vereinten Nationen, einen Internationalen Strafgerichtshof zu schaffen, um die Verantwortlichen für Völkermord, Kriegsexzesse, Folter und Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit, wie z. B.: Ermordungen, Diskriminierungen, Aggressionen und gewaltsames Verschwindenlassen in offenen Diktaturen oder in modernen Autokratien, die sich unter der Fassade der Demokratie verstecken.
