L’enseignement de la langue française au cycle secondaire qualifiant se fait, comme c’est indiqué dans les orientations pédagogiques, à travers deux entrées en l’occurrence : l’entrée par les compétences et l’entrée par les valeurs. Si la première entrée fait l’objet de plusieurs recherches en didactique, la deuxième demeure vague dans la mesure où le champ d’investigation s’avère très épineux voire impossible à cerner. De ce fait, le choix de ce sujet relève surtout de certains soucis liés à cette entrée simple dans son acception mais très complexe dans sa portée culturelle puisqu’elle convoque tous les éléments de l’échelle connexe. Plusieurs interrogations émanant de la situation scolaire dans laquelle plonge l’enseignement du français au lycée marocain président à notre recherche, à savoir : Qu’en est-il du statut des valeurs et des CVC quand nous déplaçons la réflexion en contexte scolaire marocain ? Quelles démarches didactiques adopter face au texte littéraire et ses enjeux axiologiques ? Quelles démarches appropriatives mobiliser pour éduquer aux valeurs à travers l’œuvre littéraire ? Quel est le profil culturel de l’apprenant marocain ?
