Professor Mughni Tabassum is a continuum of Urdu intellectuals. He has been a serious, dignified and well-rounded personality. His name is respected in the entire Urdu world. He was a poet, critic, teacher, scholar, editor, Urdu movement activist and a good administrator. Professor Mughni always kept the windows of his mind and heart open. He welcomed the changing trends of literature with open heart and never succumbed to extremism.
