Esta investigação clínica e teórica sobre neurose e psicose nos seus aspectos contemporâneos, conhecida como neurose normal e psicose comum, atravessa várias abordagens. - Investigação clínica e teórica em psicanálise e sociologia clínica sobre o impacto da precariedade na saúde mental e no vaguear, após a recusa como pré-requisito para a perversão; - Pesquisa de autores em psicanálise e outras disciplinas ligadas às ciências sociais e humanas; - Validação na investigação universitária. Sobre o tema do inconsciente antes de Freud e depois de Freud, o autor quis tentar realçar a importância de Freud e da sua obra, ao mesmo tempo que ilustrava a relevância de Lacan com outros autores clínicos.
