No es que haya encontrado la respuesta, pero al buscarla –pensando– se fue haciendo más humano. Y la pregunta insiste: ¿Qué es la mente? Y Domingo Boari insiste. Sus respuestas surgen de un contrapunto filoso entre la biología evolutiva, las neurociencias, el psicoanálisis freudiano y la filosofía. Y nos muestran que los seres vivos –la ameba con sus pseudópodos “torpes”, el simio, hábil para piruetas al milímetro, el murciélago que se guía por un mapa sonoro– saben mucho. Saben todo lo que necesitan. Aunque estén lejos de saber que saben. ¿A ese saber le llamamos mente? ¿Sí? ¿No? ¿Por qué? Y otra cosa.
