Revivals of religion have been a feature of Welsh history from the mid 18th century until 1905, starting with the influence of the early Methodists (originally an Evangelical movement within the Anglican church), although Caernarfonshire, unlike Anglesey, had some remnants of Puritan influence. This book traces the origins of revivals in one Welsh county and looks at some of the personalities and phenomena associated with these outpourings of God’s Holy Spirit.
