There Is No Frigate Like a Book

This book contains three poems by American Poet,  Emily Dickinson and is illustrated by classic art.  The series was created to connect children, at a very young age, to classic literature and physical books.  The classic art that illustrates the book creates the opportunity to instill an appreciation of art and as well as literature.  The first poem, He Ate and Drank the Precious Words,  is about the power of words that allow a boy who is reading the book to forget his difficult circumstances..  The second poem. There is No Frigate Like a Book,  discusses the power of the written word.  The final poem,  A Drop Fell on the Apple Tree, tells of the journey of raindrops. 3
