A group of 23 writers join a pilgrimage by bus to an international festival of short story writing in Canterbury, Dover and Hastings. On the bus and after dinner at the hotels, the writers tell a story. During the day, they attend the festivals and hear other local writers tell their stories. The writers have some similarities to those of Chaucer’s 'Canterbury Tales' but their stories and identities are totally different. By the end, all of them have changed their personalities, future plans and desires.
