All of the foregoing experiences have now culminated in the creation of Illustrated Holy Scriptures - a project that has been on the back burner for several years. During that time, I built up a personalized list of Bible verses from the New International Version (NIV) and selected photos from my personal collection with which to illustrate them. This book contains an arbitrary selection of approximately 200 Bible verses, starting with the opening text from Genesis and ending with the final words from Revelation. Each of the 66 books of the Bible is represented by at least one passage and most by more than one, with many having several.May the fruit of my endeavour bring the reader hope, encouragement and a sense of reassurance in these troubled times. And may these biblical appetizers provide motivation for the further exploration of God’s life-changing Word.
