Este libro, dividido en dos partes, expone la doctrina moral de Rosmini, partiendo de su ontología y su gnoseología. Se trata de una ética enarbolada sobre el principio del ser, del cual se alimenta inmediatamente el deber-ser. El autor expone con detalle la ontología triádica de Rosmini y luego la aplica a la teoría moral.
