The Pharmacy industry has saved millions of lives throughout the world, but has caused many problems for itself by crimes including false advertising, failures in manufacturing and unethical marketing. For these, many of the manufacturers have faced major charges, trial and massive penalties, sometimes in the billions of dollars. But this is not enough for some people who have suffered severe difficulties because of the behaviour of the organisations. Some have died from wrongly made drugs, some have suffered sickness or physical damage, others have lost their livelihoods. A war of revenge is started by an unknown group and for unknown reasons, it is focused on Detective Chief Inspector Melanie Carter in Australia. Murders occur in the UK, in the USA and Australia, killings of people involved in the pharmaceutical industry in various ways. Melanie and her team must solve this case and end the war before the bodies pile up any further.
