Who Told You Who You Are?In life, there are three existences.Reality, is on one side - On the other side, there is Belief.Reality is hard, like a granite wall. If you try to run through it, it will stop you.Beliefs, on the other side, are stories about walls that do not exist.Whether they exist or not, however, has been rendered meaningless, because stories have the power to wall you in.The storyteller need only weaken your grasp on reality, to accept that their misty mirage of walls, are solid. In short, you can be imprisoned, held in a place by delusional walls. The Third Existence Though facts and beliefs are two different things, there is a space between the two poles where both are blended together, creating confusing mazes. Those labyrinths are where identity is formed, as the social identities given to us are a mix of truth and stories, with the power to both liberate, or to trap you for any purpose that the storytellers have in mind.In essence, both reality and story, blend together to form the inner map of what you know, and what you’ve been told. On the roads in front of us all, are both open passages to safe, life giving gardens, and illusionary walls, that lock us away from genuine life.Begin to Navigate When you back up to see your life clearly, you realize that outside of what reality has revealed to us, the origins of our beliefs, come from two groups. One side, wanted something for you - and the other side, wanted something from you. Before you were old enough to ask why, or whether these images were stories, or memories, you were lured into traps, or led through to safety. However, don’t allow this stark realization to freeze you, because reality is always there to show you, with hard walls, the differences between solid truths, and flimsy lies.In addition, what we are told, is not all worthless, because some of it is gold.So the trick of life is not to follow blindly, but to steer your life journey.Steering requires alert navigation. Like driving vehicles on real world roads, navigating our lives by illusions in our mind, is driving blind, ending in collisions with your family, humanity, and with walls of reality. As such we must ask:Who do you think you are?
